Seeing Elsa gave Hannah a headache. “Miss Austin, it’s something important. I must go now, excuse me.”

Elsa Austin’s tone turned sharp as she began hurling accusations at Hannah. “You just want to cozy up to Remington, don’t you? Shameless!
You’re already engaged, why chase after Remington?”
Initially, all eyes were glued to the attack. Then, Elsa’s ruckus in the hall made everyone whip their heads around to see what the fuss was about.

Rhett didn’t catch her drift but he sensed Hannah’s jab wasn’t complimentary. He bristled.

She stood by Elsa and said to Hannah with a seemingly gentle voice, “Hannah, this is too much. I’ve already handed my fiance over to you.
How can you be alone in the same room with Elsa’s fiance? I know what kind of person you are. You aren’t someone who would steal another’s fiance, but now that you have one, it’s inappropriate to be alone with another man.”
Joselyn aimed to portray Hannah as a loose woman who was prone to stealing other people’s fiance.
She implied that her fiance had been taken by Hannah, and now Hannah was secretly involved in a relationship with Remington.
As expected, Elsa was easily swayed by Joselyn’s words.
